Vocational English

Within the frame of the constant upgrading of services and products provided by Unicert, a new collaboration is inaugurated with Express Publishing – International Vocational English providing certificates in Specialized Vocational English approved by the University of Greenwich for tens of professions.

Unicert will make available exclusively in Greece, Cyprus and Albania via the exam system created in collaboration with The Research Centre of Piraeus University, professional skills, training, exams and Certification to tens of frameworks in English language.

What is Greenwich Certificates?

This new collaboration will provide two unique certificates:

i)Certificate of attendance: It is awarded to the student of Vocational English who successfully completes any of the already available frameworks that he or she will choose.
ii )Exams certificate : It is awarded to the student of Vocational English who successfully completes any of the one-hour specialized examinations that are already available.

International professional recognition is guaranteed as the certificates are given in collaboration with such an important educational institute just as the University of Greenwich is.

The exams

• There will be two examination sessions each year. The exact dates will be announced soon.
• Each test lasts 60 minutes.
• The examination includes 5 parts:

▶ Part 1:Listening Comprehension ▶ Part 4: Reading Comprehension
▶ Part 2: Vocabulary / Terminology ▶ Part 5: Writing
▶ Part 3: Language Functions Comprehension

• The examination focuses on specific concepts and functions, vocabulary and terminology, ways of communication, written comprehension, listening comprehension and writing, related to the specific field of study.
• The exam is especially designed to respond to Vocational English of Specialized schools, technology colleges, institutes and universities./li>
• The hourly exam will be available online at certified exam centers of UNICERT.
• The minimum number of candidates required to conduct the online examination in certified centers is 10.
